School Tour Terms and Conditions

General

Please find below the Terms and Conditions for use of our website and the Terms and Conditions for booking places on our School Tours. Please read these terms and conditions carefully. Together with Our privacy policy, they govern our relationship with you in relation to this website. If you have any questions about them or do not wish to accept them, please contact us before using this website.

For the purposes of these terms and conditions, We/Our/Us means Just 4 Fun School Tours. We may change these terms and conditions at any time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to review these terms and conditions to ensure you are happy with any changes. Using or accessing this website indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not accept these terms and conditions, please do not continue to use this website.

Confirmation of Booking

When making a booking request by phone or email we will provisionally book the date and venue. Please note that this does not mean that your booking has been accepted. Your booking request constitutes an offer to us to secure a place at one of our venues. All bookings are subject to availability of the venue and date. We will confirm such acceptance to you on receipt of the required deposit of €150 per class by sending you a confirmation e-mail (the ‘Booking Confirmation’). The contract between us (‘Contract’) will only be formed when we send you the Booking Confirmation. The Contract will relate only to the venue which we have confirmed in the Booking Confirmation. Should there be a limited number of places at each venue there will be allocated in order of receipt of deposit for bookings.

Note: The final balance for payment will be Invoiced to the school and Must be paid  in advance of the tour date 

The number of children attending the school tour must be confirmed one week prior to the scheduled tour date.  

Outstanding payment Must be made in advance if using (EFT) Bank transfer Please REF:  payment to the bank with the School name and Roll Number 5 working days prior to the school tour date.  

 Alternatively, Cheque and Cash payments are accepted on the morning of the tour. 

 

Course/Event Content

We reserve the right to make changes to the published program of an Event (but not the overall content), for example to timings. In such cases, you will not be entitled to a refund if you cancel your place.

Course/Event Venue

Our Events are held at a number of venues. You acknowledge that we may have to change the published venue for the event for reasons beyond our control and in such cases, you will not be entitled to cancel unless the change in venue represents a significant disadvantage to you.

You are liable for any loss or damage which you or a member of your group may cause to our premises or that of the external venue and agree to adhere to all housekeeping rules, procedures and policies (including policies as to behavior and conduct) that may be in place at any venue from time to time. 

Children’s packed lunches, drinks, any clothing , outdoor clothing, hats, footwear, suncream & medical needs  are the responsibility of their teachers.

The hours of the tour day are as agreed in your booking confirmation. Just 4 Fun School Tours and its employees are not responsible for children outside of the above hours. Schools will not be taken into the venue before the times allocated. In the event of a late arrival by your school,. Activities will commence immediately and  continue to the original scheduled time with no added on time.

Mobile phones by children are not permitted during the day, they must be powered off Teachers will notify the manager if they are taking photographs of their group while at the venue.

Failure to agree to the Instructions of the Just 4 Fun school tours manager at the start of the tour day on health & safety, event timetable, fire evacuation, accident reporting, medical assistance, toilet & break procedures, and of your school departing the venue will result in cancellation of the day.

Our Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations received in writing by the Director, less than 4 months before the Tour date will be subject to a fee of 50%. No refunds will be made for cancellations after this date or for non-attendance. We reserve the right at any time and without prior warning to change the venue of the tour. We also reserve the right in our absolute discretion, to cancel your booking where we need to do so due to circumstances outside of our control (including, but not limited to, situations where sufficient numbers have not booked for the Tour or cancel the Tour or if you have not paid the balance of your tour prior to the tour date going into arrears with any payment due to us, or if it may prejudice our reputation).

We shall have no liability for losses or costs which you may incur due to such cancellation, but we shall refund you’re booking payment (in full as soon as possible) or offer you an alternative tour venue if one is available. You have the choice of accepting the refund, a credit note or attending the alternative tour venue we will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your tour but reserve the right to refund using an alternative method.

If in the unfortunate event that one of our tours has to be cancelled due to an emergency or circumstances out of our control, we will offer the tour to take place at a later date and no refunds will be permitted.

Images

We often take photographs at the tour venue for marketing purposes. By attending a tour you are giving us permission to use images in which you or a member of your group may be present. In addition, these images may be shared and stored on third-party platforms.

Should you not wish to appear in any of the images, please inform the Just 4 Fun School Tour Office when making your booking.


Our Liability

  1. School groups attending shall be required to always keep their personal belongings with them and we accept no liability for damage to, or loss of, personal belongings. We do not accept any responsibility for any loss (including, without limitation, theft) of any property occasioned at our external venues save for any damage caused by our negligence in which circumstances our liability shall be limited to the amount of our insurance for such losses. The program will operate to the highest safety standards. 

  2. The use of the inflatable equipment carries a risk and Just 4 Fun School     Tours operates the activities with the utmost standards of health and safety.  Just 4 Fun School Tours Ltd has full public liability cover for all activities undertaken. Personal Accident Insurance for the children against injury, accident, or loss whilst at the tours is the responsibility of the school.

  3. Nothing in these tour booking terms and conditions excludes our liability to you for personal injury or death caused by our negligence. 

 

Events Outside Our Control

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (“Force Majeure Event”). A Force Majeure Event includes any act, event, non-happening, omission, or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes (without limitation) the following:

  • Strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action;

  • Civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war.

  • Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disasters.

  • Impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport.

  • Impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications networks; and

  • The acts, decrees, legislation, regulations, or restrictions of any government.

Our performance under any Contract is deemed to be suspended for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues. We will use our reasonable endeavours to bring the Force Majeure Event to a close or to find a solution by which our obligations under the Contract may be performed despite the Force Majeure Event.

Written Communications

Applicable laws require that some of the information or communications we send to you should be in writing. When using our website, you accept that communication with us will be mainly electronic. We will contact you by e-mail or provide you with information by posting notices on our website. For contractual purposes, you agree to this electronic means of communication and you acknowledge that all contracts, notices, information, and other communications that we provide to you electronically comply with any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

 

Our Right to Vary these Terms and Conditions

We have the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time to reflect changes in technology, changes in payment methods, changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements and changes in our system’s capabilities.
You will be subject to the policies and terms and conditions in force at the time that you place a booking with us, unless any change to those policies or these terms and conditions is required to be made by law or governmental authority (in which case it will apply to bookings previously made by you), or if we notify you of the change to those policies or these terms and conditions before we send you the Booking Confirmation (in which case we have the right to assume that you have accepted the change to the terms and conditions unless you notify us to the contrary within seven working days of receipt by you of the Booking Confirmation).

Contracts for the booking of our events through this site will be governed by the law of Ireland. Any dispute arising from, or related to, such Contracts shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
